The Manfreds convene at Alpha Television Studios in Aston, Birmingham, to promote "Hubble Bubble (Toil and Trouble)," the all-important follow-up to their first UK hit, "5-4-3-2-1" on ABC Weekend TV's pop show, Thank Your Lucky Stars. Ironically, both songs were chosen as the opening theme to Thank Your Lucky Stars' TV rival, Ready Steady Go!, with the resulting weekly exposure propelling "5-4-3-2-1" into the UK top 5. Unfortunately, "Hubble Bubble..." stalled at #11, but its lackluster performance became moot when the group's next release, "Do Wah Diddy Diddy,"  became a worldwide smash.
