The Story

The Rolling Stones appear on this week's Ready Steady Go! to promote the upcoming release (October 25) of their latest U.K. single, 'Get Off Of My Cloud' — the all-important follow-up to the summer's worldwide smash, '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.' The single, released the previous month in the U.S. (September 25), will quickly reach No. 1 on both sides of the Atlantic.

Brian Jones, pictured with a rare Rickenbacker Rose Morris model 1993 12-string guitar (Rickenbacker's export version of their 360/12 model, distributed exclusively in the UK through Rose Morris Ltd), which he used to record 'Get Off Of My Cloud.' The guitar was reportedly stolen following the final show of the (fourth) Rolling Stones US tour in Los Angeles at the LA Memorial Sports Arena on December 5, 1965.
